6 Tunes We’re In Love With Right Now

You can never go wrong with a little new music in your life. Here at KGSR, we're all about finding new tunes and we're here to help you spice up your new playlists. Here are 6 songs we have been totally obsessing over lately that you should start listening to (and bragging to your friends about) ASAP:
1. "Leave A Trace" by CHVRCHES

Your favorite Scottish power trio is back! “Leave A Trace” is the latest from this alternative synth pop group and it definitely does not disappoint. Complete with that classic CHVRCHES sound, the song is everything we want from CHVRCHES as they embark on releasing their sophomore album, Every Eye Open out September 25th. Also, don’t miss them at this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest right here in Austin this November!

2. "S.O.B." by Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats

This Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats sounds like a revived classic oldie with just the right twist. Dark lyrics and intense beats, "S.O.B." is just what we need in music right now. Heads up: it even snagged a coveted spot on the Billboard Top 200 list.

3. "Fire and the Flood" by Vance Joy

Does Vance Joy do any wrong? The answer is no and “Fire and Flood” is just extra proof of that. His dreamy voice fits perfectly with the awesome instrumentals in this song. Clearly, we’re #1 Vance fans here at KGSR, and there are obvious reasons why.

4. "Here" by Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara’s smooth and funky track “Here” is everything. Laid back and fun, we’re obsessing over this upcoming Canadian singer. Also, plot twist: she’s only 19. What we’re we all doing at 19? Definitely, not releasing smash records!

5. "24 Frames" by Jason Isbell

Jason Isbell, former member of The Drive-By Truckers, continues to kill it with his solo career with songs like “24 Frames.” Beautiful guitar riffs accompanied by his fantastic voice, “24 Frames” is a must listen to track right now.

6. "Molecules" by Atlas Genius

Indie rock Aussie brothers Atlas Genius have just released their sophomore album, Intimate Objects, and it is killing it with new tunes like “Molecules”. The track is an awesome anthem that will without a doubt have you singing along in no time. Plus, they just premiered their new video today, watch below.

7. "Roll Up Your Sleeves" by Meg Mac

This girl has got one heck of a voice! Meg Mac’s soulful, fun, and free track “Roll Up Your Sleeves” is exactly what you need to be adding to your playlists right now. It’s an awesome song with just the right mix of deep soul and light sounds. It'll be on replay in no time!
