Hey guys! Trevin here to highlight a few of the Wild Cards we jammed in the wake up hours this week. Really enjoy spinning the Wild Card features every morning and hope you love em too!
*TV Priest – New, debut record out now on Sub Pop, called “Uppers”. I chose to play “This Island” because, well, frankly they’re one of my fave new bands. Can’t help but think they’d be around for SXSW this year, but alas, Rona. Enjoy some post-punk goodness from TV Priest, the whole album bangs.
*Kiwi Jr. – Huge (but good) Parquet Courts vibes here, ya’ll. Another good Sub Pop record recently released, we jammed the title track “Cooler Returns”.
*Dylan Cartlidge – I’ve had the honor of meeting / chatting with Dylan Cartlidge a coupla times now, what a gem of a guy. We shared his new song “Molasses” on Glassnote. A song about feeling a bit “over it all” so to speak – grinding it all out and finding the thing inside one’s self that made you want to go in the first place.
