Rumor has it Adele has finally announced the release date of her long awaited album, 30.

A follow up to 25, 30 is the first album we see from Adele in six years. Since the announcement of Adele’s return, fans have been longing for the release date. Finally Adele took to social media today to announce 30 will be available to stream November 19.

Along with the release date, Adele shared her own inspiration for the album in her post. “I’ve learned a lot of blistering truths about myself along the way,” she wrote. “I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself if new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go so far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out.”

Ready to share her truth, the album albeit not a divorce album mentions the split from Simon Konecki in hopes to enlighten her son in her reasoning to split.

Adele shared, “I just felt like I wanted to explain to him, through this record, when he’s in his twenties or thirties, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness. It made him really unhappy sometimes. And that’s a real wound for me that I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to heal.”

With a melancholic back story, it is only right to suspect Adele’s upcoming album will leave us crying into our pillows as her previous four studio albums have.

Out of the spotlight for what has become years, we can not wait for the return of her powerhouse of a voice and stories that resonate with the best of us.

Till then, take a look back at Adele’s performances at ACL Radio in 2009.
