Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, and More Set to Perform a 24-Hour Broadcast to Combat Global Poverty

Global Citizen Live wants to defeat world poverty, and they’ve united several artists, celebrities and world leaders to help spread the message.

The 24-hour global broadcast is part of Global Citizen’s 2021 campaign, which is a recovery plan to end COVID-19 across the world, end the hunger crisis, fight for the planet, offer learning opportunities for everyone, and further equity. The event will be broadcasted from six different continents including New York City, Champ De Mars in Paris, London, Los Angeles, Seoul, Sydney, and Rio De Janerio.

On that bill you’ll find Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Green Day, Lorde, H.E.R., The Lumineers, Keith Urban, Doja Cat, BTS, Metallica, and more are expected to be announced in August.

Global Citizen Live hits record on September 25. As of now, they haven’t revealed specific times, ticket information, or where the artists will be performing, but that will also be announced in the weeks ahead.
