Dawes Release New Song ‘St. Augustine At Night’

Dawes have released a new song titled “St. Augustine At Night” off their upcoming album Good Luck With Whatever, out October 2.

“‘St. Augustine At Night’ is a song about one’s relationship to their hometown. But also a song about the varying degrees in which we all watch our lives pass us by,” said the band.

The new single follows their “Who Do You Think You’re Talking To” track, which was released last month. Frontman Taylor Goldsmith opened up about their July single, explaining “Who Do You Think You’re Talking To?” focuses on repercussions of past relationships, and finding ways to work through them as life moves forward. “It’s also about the other internal process going on at the same time- trying to assess a situation but knowing when not to take it personally and also finding a way to avoid over analyzing.”

Good Luck With Whatever is Dawes’ seventh studio album. The forthcoming project was produced by Dave Cobb, and will have a total of nine songs.  You can stream their latest singles below.
