“I just like to fill the day with things, otherwise I get lonely,” said Lewis Capaldi when he stopped by our studio before his sold out show at Emo’s.
Keeping our listeners entertained with his compelling and rugged vocals, Capaldi also knew how to crack a joke or two on-air. The singer-songwriter chatted with our very own Andy Langer on being associated as a “global superstar,” according to Google results. “I don’t take myself too seriously at all. And I don’t think anyone else should,” said Capaldi as he chuckled softly. Although he likes to have a laugh, the Scottish artist clarified that working on music isn’t done half-heartedly.
Many other artists have praised Capaldi’s work, including Pink who recently shared on social media that she taught her daughter how to harmonize using Capaldi’s song; his reaction pretty much says it all.
