Margo Price Delays Album Release Date

Many artists have postponed their shows or album release dates due to the coronavirus pandemic. Margo Price is now on that rescheduled list.

“Sometimes circumstances are beyond our control,” shared Price on a lengthy social media post. “I would say that’s the case for folks everywhere in the world right now.” The artist announced that her new album That’s How Rumours Get Started will not be out on May 8.

Price wrote that record plants have paused on production of vinyl. With that, she set a “more realistic” date for her upcoming album, which is this summer. In hopes of going on tour to perform these new songs with her band soon, the artist stated that in the meantime, she will release singles and will “be making lots of music.”

In fact, she released a John Lennon cover. Check out the acoustic cover of “Nobody Told Me,” featuring her husband Jeremy Ivey.
