lovelytheband perform “Broken” during ACL Radio’s Live Morning Broadcast at the W Austin during SXSW 2018.

lovelytheband is made up of lead singer Mitchy Collins, guitarist Jordan Greenwald and drummer Sam Price. Their 2017 breakout release “broken” saw critical and commercial success and went platinum by the RIAA. No pun intended, lovelytheband broke the record in 2018 for the longest running #1 on Alternative Radio; staying on the charts for over a year as well as being in the top 10 for 50 weeks! This led to the release of their first full length album finding it hard to smile in 2018.

“i should be happy” is the band’s latest release this year and features atmospheric minimalistic production over lush vocal melodies singing of the pains of depression:

In 2012, they released their second album Some Nights featuring their Grammy Award winning single “We Are Young.” This pop banger reached number one in the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and the UK. It also won a Grammy for Best New Artist and Song of the Year in 2013.

London based alternative rock band Wolf Alice was originally formed in 2010 and has since released two studio albums; My Love Is Cool and Visions of a Life. Their first single “Fluffy” debuted February of 2013 and was re-recorded and featured on their 2015 album My Love Is Cool. “Bro” was released soon after as they quickly generated online buzz; BBC Radio 6 Music selected Wolf Alice as the single most blogged about band in the UK. Their second album Visions of a Life won the 2018 Mercury Prize in the UK.

Wolf Alice’s guitarist, Joff Odie just released an instrumental folk cover album to raise money and awareness for the food bank charity, The Trussell Trust:
