Sir Woman & The Texas Sting Assembly w/ Angel White | 7:00pm | Mohawk

The end of the year is near so don’t miss out on one of the last great shows of 2022. Sir Woman will be  performing with the Texas String Assembly and Angel White at the Mohawk. Sir Woman have cemented their reputation as the most exciting new band to emerge in the crowded Austin music scene. Started in late 2019 by Wild Child/Glorietta vocalist Kelsey Wilson as a vehicle for her more Soul and RnB influenced songs, the fledgling band was dubbed ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2020 Austin Music Awards before the pandemic struck. Grab tickets here.

Ghostland Observatory flyer

New Years Eve with Ghostland Observatory | 8:00pm | Mohawk

Spend your NYE with Ghostland Observatory at the Mohawk. Ghostland Observatory’s entire approach to music – sonically, aesthetically, conceptually – is essentially a melding of the two distinctly different personalities of its two members, Thomas Ross Turner and Aaron Behrens. Whereas Turner, the producer/drummer/keyboardist of the duo, finds solace in the minimal, bleak cable-patch squawks of Karlheinz Stockhausen and the analog-disco-thump of Giorgio Moroder, Behrens’ interests lie more along the lines of psychedelia, rock and various country and blues artists. Grab tickets here.

Into the Wild NYE party

A sumptuous departure to the wild side. Pull on your slickest loincloths and fanciest animal fauxs, and join us for the first romp of the New Year! Partnering with FOTO//HOUSE, Native will be transformed into a sensual jungle wonderland, full of multi-sensory sights and sounds of the wild now. Grab tickets here.

Since 2017, the Spurs have been coached by Blake Ahearn, a veteran of both the NBA and the G League.
