I Will Vote Gallery Exhibition
6:50 PM | Prizer Arts & Letters

Just in time for election day on November 6, artist John Fiege is hosting an art exhibition focused on young Texan voters participating in the State Senate Election. “I Will Vote” showcases portraits, interviews, and other mediums of art centered around voting for positive social change on issues such as immigration laws, gun violence, and equal rights.

 

A Ruff Night Out: Speed Dating for Dog Lovers
8:00 PM | Buzz Mill

Austin Pets Alive is sponsoring a speed dating event for those who love meeting new people just as much as they love their own pups. With a $10 donation to the nonprofit, you receive a customized dog tag and two raffle tickets to win various prizes. The speeding dating portion of the night will last 10 minutes for each couple and your dogs are invited too. Dog costumes are said to be highly encouraged!

 

Cider House Rulz Comedy Night
8:00 PM | Austin Eastciders Collaboratory

A free comedy show on the first and third Fridays of every month is right around the corner at Austin Eastciders Collaboratory. Enjoy performances from local stand up comedians while sipping on some of Austin’s best cider. Entry to the event is free.

Circle of Soul Block Party   
12:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Circle Brewing Company

The ultimate block party will be taking place at Circle Brewing Company this weekend with $3 beers, live music performances, and market vendor shops. The first 50 guests to show up to the party get a bomber of Circle Brewing Company’s Archetype Historical IPA, a pint glass, sticker and button.

 

Brunch & Brew
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Cherrywood Coffeehouse

Cherrywood Coffeehouse is hosting their first #MorningMarket. Brunch and drink goodies will be given away at the market, along with market vendor booths and boutiques. So stop by the coffeehouse to grab a mimosa, muffin, and market shopping bag this Saturday!

 

Eric Burton Concert  
8:30 PM | The Continental Club

Eric Burton is an Austin artist who is part of the duo with Adrian Quesada known as Black Pumas. Named Austin 360’s Artist of the Month for May 2018, Burton and his partner have continued to receive a large local following in the Austin music scene. Playing at The Continental Club, a legendary, yet intimate venue on South Congress, Burton will be taking the stage with his silky vocals and rustic guitar sounds. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.

Northside Next: Gr8 Sk8
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Domain Northside

This Sunday, the streets of the Domain shopping center are being transformed into a glow in the dark skating arena. This kid friendly event will have skating, photobooth ops, drinks, and games to enjoy. The event supports a local nonprofit known as Austin Angels, an organization that supports those in the foster care system. Gr8 Sk8 is free and open to the public.

 

American Indian Heritage
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Bullock Texas State History Museum

In celebration of November being American Indian Heritage Month, the Bullock Texas History Museum is hosting a free admission exhibition centered around celebrating American Indian history. Arts and crafts, snacks, and speakers will be present at the museum for those who are eager to learn more about American Indian Heritage!
