Allen Stone on Austin City Limits Radio

Allen Stone joined Austin City Limits Radio in the studio, full-size and fun-size.

The R&B and soul singer didn't seem phased discovering a miniature sized version of himself sitting next to Andy Langer. Stone's bobble head, which had the best seat in the studio, was an intricate process to perfect. The artist joked with Langer about the design, saying, "I made them add quite the muscular detail to the quads and the biceps on the bobble head."

Stone also didn't want to exclude his furry friend from from the figurine. "She is to size, actually," then added how they matched his own head size pretty well.

The musician opened up to our listeners about managing a music career all while being a husband and father. The effort behind that? Unceasing. "It's 24 hours a day," said Stone. "Having a child, it's everything, 110 miles an hour... it's full on, all the time." The non-stop family and music lifestyle, however, is "the greatest gig [he's] ever had." Stone said "there's so much more fulfillment through raising a son and providing for a family."

The artist released his fourth studio album, Building Balance, last year. Check out the rest of the interview below and watch him perform "Brown Eyed Lover" and "Give You Blue," featured on the latest album.
