Our favorite days of the week have arrived! And now that the weekend is finally here, if you’re over 21, you can enjoy it with a Shiner on Sunday at the Lustre Pearl for the “big game!” There will be on-site sampling and free swag from 5 PM – 8 PM! Check out our guide below for more pointers on how you can spend the rest of your days off, presented by Shiner.

 

Austin City Limits Radio Woofstop #2 at the Williamson County Animal Shelter

Woofstock’s Second Stop | Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter | 12pm-1pm

ACL Radio’s second “Woofstop” for Woofstock is on SATURDAY! Join us at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter from 12pm-1pm for your chance to get tickets to Woofstock. All you have to do is make a donation to the shelter in exchange for your entry to see an acoustic set from The Kooks and Walker Lukens & His Loop Station on February 16th at Oskar Blues Brewery! Be sure to get there early, only the first 93 people that make a donation are guaranteed a pair of tickets.

First Friday’s Silent Disco | The Infinite Monkey Theorem | 9 PM

In the mood to just let loose this Friday? Well, you can by dancing your heart out at Silent Disco. If you’re officially done with Dry January, they’re offering a few steps to help you out with that. Drink specials will be at your service all night and for those of you easing your way back into the game, they also got you covered.

 

Candle It in Austin | Mimi’s Cafe at Arbor Walk | 7 PM -10 PM

Valentine’s Day is coming soon! If you’re on a budget and want to find the perfect gift for your loved ones that have a personal touch to it, you’ll want to head to Mimi’s Cafe at Arbor Walk. You can make your very own soy candles. Pick your colors, scents and you’ll have a custom set of candles to gift!

 

The 2019 Harry Potter Drive-In Film Fest | Bluelite Starlite Drive-In | 6 PM

If you’re in need for a chill night with some of your closest friends, then watching a movie is ideal for ya. Fulfill your night with magic one last time at the Blue Starlite Drive-In as they conclude their Harry Potter Drive-In Fest this weekend. And if you’re feeling festive, bust out your magic wand and wizard robe. You can remember this movie night with photo ops! There will even be movie-themed drinks and a magic candy shop.

Plant Based Baking | Noble Baking | 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Who would have thought having a sweet tooth can actually be a good thing! This plant-based baking course will teach you how to bake sweets without eggs, dairy and butter! Everything will be replaced with vegan recipes. From brownies to donuts and cookies… you can’t go wrong with starting off your Saturday morning baking and eating tasty desserts!

 

In Brunch We Trust: 21 Jump Street | Alamo Drafthouse Austin and Alamo Drafthouse Ritz | 1 PM – 3 PM

Doesn’t brunch and a movie sound like the perfect combination? It does for us. This February the Ritz will be a hosting a brunch one Sunday a month along with a movie to go with it! Get ready to watch 21 Jump Street on the big screen while you enjoy ordering food from a brunch-themed menu.

 

Solitary Sunrise | Pinot’s Palette North Austin  | 8 PM – 10 PM

Express your artistic side this Saturday and enjoy a night out with your friends while you paint. There will be great music and drinks. The class welcomes beginners and experienced artists to attend!

Free Class: Organic Veggie Gardening 101 | The Natural Gardener | 10 AM – 11 AM

Start your Sunday morning with this FREE veggie gardening class. You’ll learn the basics of it all including topics to planting during the right seasons, soil prep and more. Courses vary so you’ll always learn something new on how to independently grow healthy food!

 

“Big Game” Sunday | The North Door | 5:30 PM

Need a place to watch the “big game?” Join everyone at The North Door to watch the game with your friends! A projector will be displayed to watch and tacos and drinks will be on the menu that day.
 

Ricardo’s Sunday Tango Classes | Rose Movement | 4:30 PM – 6:45 PM

It’s difficult to try new things… but Ricardo’s Sunday tango course is what will motivate you to learn something new! You’ll learn how to dance with confidence all while adding your personal style to the dance. The class will start with the basic skills on how to enhance your body intelligence and you will even get a one-on-one evaluation that will give you your very own exercises and instructions to improve.
