        Woofstock: Acoustic Set from The Kooks and Walker Lukens & His Loop Station

Woofstock’s First Stop | Austin Pets Alive! | 12pm-1pm

ACL Radio’s first “Woofstop” for Woofstock is on SATURDAY! From 12pm-1pm you’ll have the chance to grab your tickets for the show, where The Kooks and Walker Lukens & His Loop Station will each have an acoustic set. Head to Austin Pets Alive! and make a donation in exchange for your entry! Be sure to get there early, only the first 93 people that make a donation are guaranteed a pair of tickets.

 

 

Friday January 25th

 

Paella Cooking Class-Arboretum | Con’ Olio Oils & Vinegars (Arboretum) | 6pm-8pm

If you’re trying to cook more this year, then why not take a course to learn some pointers? Join Chef Fer Candil of Paellas Tapas & More for an interactive cooking course. This class will teach you what you need to know about extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars, and you’ll even get to see a demonstration of authentic Spanish recipes (including desserts)!

 

Game Night | Sans Bar | 8pm

Are you partaking in the Dry January movement? Then head over to Sans Bar for some games and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be board games, team games, an Ultimate Smash Bros tournament, and mocktails. Tickets are $10 online and will be $15 at the door; once you purchase your ticket your guaranteed unlimited sober mocktails for the night!

Quiero Más Bachata: Bachata Workshop & Social | Austin Inspired Movement | 9:30pm-2am

Dance your way into the weekend! Bring your favorite dance partner and learn some amazing Bachata moves. The instructional course will lead to a social dancing, so you’ll be able to mingle and showcase your dance moves. DJs will bring the music, all you need to bring is your own beer.

 

Saturday January 26th

 

Feed Your Soul: Free Wanderlust Yoga Class + Breakfast Bites |Wanderlust Yoga Austin | 9:30am-12pm 

Yoga and tacos, could there be a better combination?! Wanderlust is hosting a one-hour FREE yoga session that will be taught by Zoe Welch. Don’t be nervous if you’re not a pro, this course is for beginners and experts! Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast taco from Taco Ranch. You’ll even leave with a goody bag provided by DoorDash.

 

Plant Hike | McKinney Falls State Park Texas Parks and Wildlife | 10am-11am

It might be a little chilly out but that doesn’t mean you have to stay indoors! Taking a hike will be what you need to start your Saturday morning. This one mile walk will be great for you plant enthusiasts. You’ll be able to explore the different plants that surround McKinney Falls all while getting a workout!

 

Charlie Mars & David Grissom| The Saxon Pub | 10pm

What’s a better way to spend your Saturday night than enjoying some live tunes? Head on over to the Saxon Pub to see Charlie Mars and David Grissom. Tickets are on sale now. Live music, drinks and your favorite people… what more could you ask for!

 

Sunday January 27th

 

DIY Perfume Workshop | Craft | 3pm-4:30pm

It’s not easy finding a perfume you love… well now you can actually create one that truly defines you. This DIY perfume workshop will be lead by Asmita, the owner of Forze de Vie. With some guidance, you’ll learn how to pick the right scents, blend aromas, and even learn the history of perfume! Once you fill up your empty bottle with a customized perfume, you can take it home along with an ingredient record that documents your formula.

 

An Afternoon of Mezcal, Ceramics, and Vegan Authentic Mexican Bites | Laced With Romance Vintage | 2pm-7pm

Enjoy your Sunday afternoon at Lace With Romance Vintage. The vintage clothing/home goods store will be hosting a day filled with good food and a pop-up shop by local ceramics artist Isabel Glatthorn. There will be authentic Mexican vegan food by Cool Beans Food Truck, even be a complimentary Copita included in the festivities.

 

Crystals 101 with Tracy Sage King | Meditation Bar | 7pm-8:30pm

Everything you need to know on how to work with crystals begins with this course. Tracy Sage King, a Certified Crystal Healer, will show you how to integrate crystals in your daily life. Whether that’s through meditating or for spiritual guidance, she’ll give you all the ideas you need.

And if you’re opting out from alcoholic beverages this month for “Dry January,” there will be complimentary non-alcoholic drinks from Juice Society, and free food samples for your furry friend!
