Billie Eilish Releases New Track Inspired by Award Winning Film

Rising star Billie Eilish released a new song today that’s worth hearing!

The song, called “When I Was Older,” is inspired from the Netflix film, Roma, which won two Golden Globes, including Best Foreign Language Film. Eilish and her brother wrote the song together and named it after a part of dialogue that was said by the film's main character, Pepe.

The film takes place in Mexico during the 1970s. It follows the journey of a domestic worker, and captures the political uproar that occurred within that era.

The new song will be added to an “Inspired By” playlist curated by director Alfonso Cuarón, who won Best Director.
