Cage the Elephant to Headline Hi, How Are You Day 2020

The annual fundraising concert will be returning for its third year in 2020.

Hi, How Are You Day continues as a call-to-action towards mental health, but the show will also be a tribute to the life and legacy of late artist and musician Daniel Johnston who passed away earlier this year.

Tom Gimbel, the co-founder and longtime manager for Johnston, said in a press release that "this year's Hi, How Are You Day will have special significance as it's the first event since Daniel's passing. Many of the artists who will be performing have a long and close history with Daniel and his music."

Cage the Elephant will be headlining this year's concert. Other performances include White Denim, Tunde Adebimpe from TV on the Radio, Jason Falkner, and Katie Schecter. More artists will be added to the lineup soon.

As always, the Hi, How Are You Day show will take place on Johnston's birthday on January 22nd at ACL Live. Tickets will be available to purchase on Friday, December 6th and premium tickets and VIP packages are up for grabs now. All proceeds will benefit the non-profit organization inspired by Johnston called the Hi, How Are You Project, which is dedicated to promote the well-being of others all while overcoming the stigma of mental health through research, events and training programs.
