The Strokes Perform New Song at First Show in Over Two Years

The Strokes kicked off their global tour with an unexpected moment for fans on Monday. The New York band debuted a new song at a Los Angeles benefit show.

This was the band’s first time hitting the stage together in over two years. Their new tune is called, “The Adults Are Talking,” and you can check it out below.

The alternative rock group haven’t released new music since their 2016 EP Future Present Past and their last full-length album, Comedown Machine, came out in 2013.

Aside from giving fans a taste of new music, the band played some of their older songs that they hadn't performed in years, including "Ize Of The World" and "On The Other Side."

They even did a cover of Erasure's "A Little Respect." Take a look at the live performance below.

The band will be hitting the road the entire summer, and will be playing at Governor's Ball in New York  on June 2nd and Lollapalooza in Paris on July 21st.
