Ultimately, safety is the festival’s number one priority, so we are sharing a few safety reminders to ensure everyone has the perfect weekend.

The Austin Police Department received over twenty reports of “thefts from person” cases during weekend one of Austin City Limits Festival. These thefts mainly consisted of pick pocketing cell phones, cash, and cards. In order to eliminate this crime, remember to store your valuables in a close pocket or bag. According to the festival’s policy, bags with more than one main pocket are prohibited. However, a small fanny pack or crossover bag should be approved and decrease the cases of theft in the park.

Four medical tents can be spotted on the festival map if any physical or emotional issues arise. Lastly, reminder to stay close with friends and look out for one another.
