Austin-based artist Walker Lukens released a new song called, “Didn’t Wanna Do Right.”

Lukens will release his third full-length album, ADULT, on April 26th. In a press release, the singer-songwriter shared his thoughts on the inspiration behind the new album.
“For better or worse, I tried to make a record about how absurd it has felt to be alive over the past few years, that sounds like how its feels to build a life while the world you were promised changes,” said Lukens. The Texas artist also added that he wanted to create songs that would make people dance.
The new album will comprise of nine songs. ADULT revolves around the subject of facing an unpredictable future when growing up. “Everyone I know feels like they aren’t where they thought they’d be at this age,” said Lukens.
Back in February, the artist released a single called, “Heard You Bought a House,” which will be the third track off the new album.
