Ever deluded yourself into thinking that the cute girl/guy your crush has been cozying up to is nothing more than just a good friend? Carson McHone has, and she shares her perspective of the experience so eloquently in the aptly-titled track "Maybe They're Just Really Good Friends" from her 2015 full-length record, Goodluck Man. A born and raised Austinite, McHone has been refining her skills on Austin's stages since she was a teen, and her years of work are certainly paying off; the budding country star has collabed with Texas country legend Ray Wylie Hubbard, Mike and the Moonpies, and Shinyribs, and can now add "ACL 2017 Performer" to her already impressive resume.

Carson stopped by our ACL morning broadcast before the fest kicked off to perform the aforementioned track from her full-length debut - check out the full video down below!
