Each December, former president Barack Obama takes to Facebook with a list of his favorite books, films, and songs released that year. In discussing his annual lists with Rolling Stone, Obama shared: “It gives me a moment to pause and reflect on the year through the books, movies, and music that I found most thought-provoking, inspiring, or just plain loved. It also gives me a chance to highlight talented authors, artists, and storytellers – some who are household names and others who you may not have heard of before.”

This year’s killer playlist is as diverse as ever and features a handful of ACL Radio faves, including Leon Bridges, Lord Huron,  Anderson East, Janelle Monae, Hozier, Courtney Barnett, and more. See the full playlist below, and stream it here courtesy of Spotify!
