Bleachers “Rollercoaster” [SXSW 2015]

Full house for Bleachers. The New Jersey band joined us at our Live Morning Broadcast during SXSW back in 2015.

Frontman Jack Antonoff shared a post on his birthday (March 31- happy birthday!) that he will be releasing music samples “semi regularly” for the world to use for free. “not everyone has access to gear like this so my goal is to share samples of this quality so you can use them and see where they get you. all free and good to use in whatever capacity.” The artist and producer went on to say that he’s “excited to hear [his music samples] pop up out in the world!” His samples can be downloaded at jackantonoffstudio.com.

Watch the band sing one of their hit songs “Rollercoaster” from their 2014 debut album Strange Desire above.

Nathaniel Rateliff [Full Performance/Interview Lounge 2015]

Nothing but sweet jams from Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats. The band stopped by the Dell Music Lounge back in 2015 for a live performance and interview.

Back in February, Rateliff released his first solo album in seven years called And It’s Still Alright. Ready to start his tour in March, the artist had to postpone his schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although just like many other artists, Rateliff has found a way to still reach his fans and perform for them- virtually. After you check out his Dell Music Lounge with The Night Sweats, watch him sing some songs for In My Room, an IGTV series from Rolling Stone magazine featuring artists performing from home.

Elle King “Good Thing Gone” [SXSW 2018]

You can’t go wrong with starting your day with some Elle King tunes, especially live. And we made it happen back in 2018. King joined us at the crack of dawn for our Live Morning Broadcast during SXSW. Watch the singer-songwriter perform “Good Thing Gone” off her sophomore album Shake The Spirit.

Lukas Nelson “Breakdown (Tom Petty Cover)” [ACL 2017]

Throw it back to ACL Fest 2017. Lukas Nelson hung out with us and sang a few tunes, including a cover of Tom Petty’s song “Breakdown.” Luke Nelson & POTR released their 6th studio album called Naked Garden on March 27. Nelson said on social media that the band is “excited to share this chapter with [fans].” The band is also partaking in IGTV music sessions. They’ve shared a few videos already performing songs off their latest album and a few older tunes.

Phantogram [Full Performance/Interview SXSW 2014]

We’re going way back with Phantogram. The electronic rock duo performed “Black Out Days” and “Fall In Love” from their second album Voices in 2014 at our Live Morning Broadcast during SXSW. Fast forward to 2020, the band released their fourth album Ceremony. Singer and bassist Sarah Barthel took to Instagram to share her perspective on the album. Impacted by the loss of her sister Becky and heroes from suicide, Barthel confesses how the sadness took a toll on her and her bandmate Josh Carter. Read their full statement below and be sure to give their new album a listen after checking out to their 2014 performance with ACL Radio.
