In just a few weeks, The 1975 fans might be gifted with some new tunes.

Jamie Oborne, the band’s manager, confirmed the speculation after responding to a fan’s question on Twitter, asking if a new single will be released this month.

Oborne responded by saying that they “are working hard to get new music ready,” and if the song is ready, it could potentially be out this month.

The 1975’s latest album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships was released back in November and now the English pop-rock band is working on a follow-up LP called Notes On A Conditional Form, which is expected to be out around summertime.

Until then, fans are hoping for some previews of the band’s new material.

The band will be making an appearance in Austin on May 3rd at the Austin360 Amphitheater, around the time their new album is due for release. You can find tickets to the show here.
