Weekend 1 at Austin City Limits Music Festival sees Mumford & Sons debut a brand new song titled “Maybe” with Noah Kahan.

Lots of interesting collaborations at this 2023 ACL Fest! Noah Kahan has a had a big year, with a lot of recognition from big acts including ACL Fest’s beloved Mumford & Sons. October 8th we see the two acts combine during Mumford & Sons headlining set for a newly written song only practiced once.

Lyrics heard from frontman Marcus Mumford and Noah Kahan:

Maybe I’m halfway out the door / This wasn’t it, this wasn’t all I was asking for/ Maybe I’m spoiled, maybe I’m gettin’ old / Maybe I feasted too much before / This wasn’t it, this wasn’t all I was asking for.

The pair sang together: Will you stop your screamin’ just for a second / I really don’t care what you think / But I care how you feel / And I want to be there and in your arms / Just sit here together for a time / Let’s watch the world go ’round, let’s watch the tides with the light in their eyes.
