St. Vincent – All Born Screaming
St. Vincent has been teasing her seventh album, All Born Screaming, since February. Her latest track “Big Time Nothing” leans into funk and alt-rock adding to the diverse sound on this new record. With moments of art pop, ballads, industrial sounds, it makes for an interesting 10 track album.
Charley Crockett – $10 Cowboy
True Texan on the lineup today, Charley Crockett delivers a 12-track LP with his classic country/soul sound. Tune in to ACL Radio and you might hear his track ‘Solitary Road,’ another solid track along with the albums title track. If you haven’t seen him live here at our ACL Fest Broadcast or many other Austin showcases, its time to check him out!
Hovvdy – Hovvdy (Grand Jury)
Another artist out of Austin, this duo just released a 19-track self titled LP. With a slightly more experimental sound on this album, the duo deliver an emotional journey with their folk and indie inspired range. Worth every minute check out their YouTube or streaming.
