It’s back! After more than a decade the Wheatsville Arts Festival is returning, and admission is completely FREE. Join us Saturday, December 2 from 10 am to 5 pm for a complete takeover of our South Lamar parking lot. Currently we have over 70 vendors offering one of a kind, handmade creations. We will also have a kid’s area from 12-4 sponsored by Austin Creative Reuse. After you hit the festival, head into the store for samples from our wine department and our Bakehouse. You can even sign up for a free facial compliments of Fat and the Moon! FREE.

 

Money Chicha And El Combo Oscuro W/ DJ Beats Of Burden | 7:00pm | The Far Out Lounge

Money Chicha is an Austin, Texas based group featuring members of the Grammy-award winning Latin orchestra Grupo Fantasma and its offshoot funk outfit Brownout which performs a fuzzed-out, reverb-drenched and percussion-heavy style of music inspired by the sounds of Peru and Colombia in the 60s and 70s. This style of music, sometimes called “chicha” music, is known for its infectious Latin beat, its psychedelic, surf guitar pyrotechnics and its melodies influenced by the indigenous culture of the Andes mountains. Black Pumas With Danielle Ponder [Night 1] | 8:00pm | ACL Live

Due to high demand, GRAMMY-nominated duo Black Pumas, have announced a fourth show in Austin, Texas, at ACL Live on Dec. 3. The hometown shows will run Dec. 3-6 and are the duo’s first performances in over a year since their last tour in early summer of 2022. Known for their exhilarating live performances (as displayed on multiple sold-out tours across North and South America and Europe), the band are thrilled to return to the stage and be reunited with local fans in tandem with the release of their hotly anticipated sophomore effort, Chronicles Of A Diamond out on Oct. 27 on ATO Records.
