Forrest Griffen

Forrest has spent much of his two-decade radio career spinning Austin City Limits performances "Live from Austin, TX" like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Lucinda Williams, and of course Willie Nelson (Forrest's birthday is the day after Willie's). Forrest has called Austin home for eight years, getting here in time to be in the audience for the first Austin City Limits taping at ACL's new home at the Moody Theater with the Steve Miller Band. He met his wife in Austin, married at the Texas Capitol, and their son's first concert was at KGSR's Blues on the Green. KGSR is Forrest's home on weekends, and otherwise, he's searching out ideal swimming holes, road-tripping the best Texas barbecue, and definitely taking advantage of all the Live Music Capital has to offer.
