Guster “Satellite” [LIVE Music Lounge 2013]

Boston band Guster performed live in the Dell Music Lounge in front of a live studio audience back in 2013. The alternative rock group performed “Satellite” off their 2006 album Ganging Up on the Sun.

In 2019, Guster released their eighth studio album Look Alive. This year, the band collaborated with The Omaha Symphony and created a live album titled OMAGAH! It’s available to stream on Spotify.

Recently the band unveiled their brand new EP Zeno Mountain. The nine-song project is made up of b-sides from their latest album Look Alive. Guster shared some news fans can look forward to, saying, “See if you can connect the dots between these songs and the ones that made the cut for Look Alive. We are working on new songs, and they’ll come at you from a whole other direction.” Stream Zeno Mountain below.

Tom Morello “World Wide Rebel Songs” [LIVE SXSW 2012]

Austin City Limits Radio had the chance to hang out with Tom Morello in 2012 during SXSW.
In August, Morello released a powerful new track called “You Belong to Me” that centers on slave rebellion and the fight for freedom. “A desire for freedom and the dream of successful rebellion are often the greatest objects of song, art, and culture amongst the enslaved population,” said Morello. In
“You Belong to Me,” the guitarist specifically sings about Nat Turner’s rebellion in 1831 in Southampton County, Virginia.  Master’s shot went wide/Nat Turner stood him on his knees/The plantation burned around them/Master cursed and whispered, ‘Please.” Watch the music video below, directed by Morello himself.
