Austin City Limits announced their first taping for Season 46. British singer Yola will take the stage on February 4th, 2020, marking her ACL debut.

Yola released her debut album Walk Through Fire in February 2019, which was produced by The Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach. By November 2019, the country soul singer earned four Grammy nominations for Best New Artist, Best Americana Album for Walk Through Fire, Best American Roots Song, and Best American Roots Performance.

Aside from new music and award nominations, 2019 was filled with memorable performances for the rising star. Yola shared the stage with multiple artists last year, including Kacey Musgraves, The Killers, Dolly Parton, Sheryl Crow and Brandi Carlile. The singer-songwriter is currently on tour with country artist Chris Stapleton, and is also set to perform at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in June.

In October 2019, Yola performed at ACL Fest and joined us backstage. Check out her mesmerizing performance of “It Ain’t Easier” below.
