The virtual Democratic National Convention has featured performances from Leon Bridges, Maggie Rogers and Billie Eilish.
Bridges performed his new track “Sweeter” with Terrace Martin on the first day of the virtual event, while Maggie Rogers performed “Back in My Body” from her 2019 debut album Heard It In A Past Life.
Last night Billie Eilish performed her latest single “My Future” alongside Finneas. The artist gave a powerful speech before the performance, showing her support to the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Eilish’s message was also a call for voter registration. “Silence is not an option and we can’t sit this one out. We all have to vote like our lives and the world depend on it, because they do,” said the 18-year-old artist.
