Briscoe With Thomas Csorba | 6:30pm | Historic Scoot Inn

Briscoe is Truett Heintzelman and Philip Lupton. Formed at the University of Texas at Austin, Briscoe quickly went from college gigs to selling out Antone’s and the Continental Club Gallery. As the duo continued to perform and grow their fanbase, a wider audience began to take notice. They soon opened shows for Noah Kahan and Ruston Kelly and were selected for dates with Zach Bryan and Caamp. And after recently graduating from UT, Briscoe has a packed touring summer, filled with festivals alongside some of music’s biggest names on Bonnaroo, Winnetka Music Festival, FairWell Festival, Catbird Music Festival, Iron Blossom Music Festival and more. 2023 Pecan Street Festival | 11:00am, Saturday & Sunday | Historic 6th Street

The Pecan Street Festival is a free two-day arts festival held twice yearly in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street Historic District. Taking place the first Saturday & Sunday in May and the last Saturday & Sunday in September, the juried festival attracts hundreds of local and national artisans offering original handcrafted creations in a variety of mediums, from metal, wood, fiber, clay, leather, glass and stone to repurposed materials of all kinds. Sunday, September 17th

Paddlepalooza | 9:00am | Rowing Dock

From open to close, Rowing Dock will provide one hour of FREE kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle boarding to community members on a first come, first serve basis, no advance registration required. Following the first free hour, customers who are interested in staying out longer will be charged at regular rental rates. Any extra time is charged upon your return in half-hour increments. The Paddlepalooza will run from 9am-8pm. Last boat out is at 7pm, but we recommend arriving by 6:30pm to ensure you’re able to get on the water in time! FREE.

 

Lana Del Rey | 7:30pm | Germania Insurance Amphitheater

Lana Del Rey has announced a tour of U.S. cities starting in September. The dates behind Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd kick off in Franklin, Tennessee, and wrap a few weeks later in Charleston, West Virginia. Amid her tour, Del Rey will also perform at All Things Go Music Festival. Ticket available here.
