Also: within the unfortunate trend of restaurant closures due to the pandemic, we notice a more narrow trend of brunch-specific restaurants failing to make it. Holy Roller and The Funkadelic are two notable examples lately. We encourage you to seek out local places with outdoor seating, throw on a sweatshirt and go get some brunch in ya belly! We CAN support our local eateries and be smart, scientific and safe about it. Lots of y’all, in the Before Times, would have hung your heads in shame at having missed brunch. It’s time to revive that commitment!
